How to request deletion of your data

This page explains how Roomity users can request deletion of their data and how we confirm the request.

1. In-app deletion (recommended)

  1. Open Roomity.
  2. Go to Settings > Account.
  3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Once submitted, sign-in is disabled, data is archived for 3 months, and fully deleted after 2 years (unless legal obligations apply).

2. If you signed in with Facebook

You can also remove Roomity from Facebook by going to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites, then removing Roomity. This sends a data deletion request to us.

For the fastest processing, we recommend also using the in-app deletion steps above.

3. Manual request via email

If you cannot access the app, email support@roomity.chat with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include the phone number or email used in the app. We may ask for verification to protect your account.

4. Confirmation & status

We will confirm receipt and share the status of your deletion request through the email address you provide or the contact details on your account.
